Here is a short clip of the doe and 2 fawns I posted a few images of here a few days ago…. what fun to watch they were! 7/22/18

I found this female moose in a large field this morning, 7/4/19. It took a while for her to realize I was not a threat. I felt sorry for her because of all the deer flies buzzing her big ears.
Heres a quick 15 second video I made that shows how fast you have to be to get away with a fish, but sometimes you loose…. watch closely and see who get the fish..
Here is a short video of a beaver munching on grass this morning with a couple of upset geese for background music.

Click the white triangle to see video…As I was watching the action in a local north Quabbin beaver pond this young beaver seemed OK with me joining him for breakfast :). He has come to this spot to feed and I”m sure he has seen me before. You can see him whiff the air right at the beginning of the video, and Tham ignore me.
I stuck a camera on the shore of a really secluded beaver pond deep in the Petersham area last week. I checked the card yesterday and had this gem ! Click on the white triangle and open it full screen for best quality.
My trail camera caught a female moose inspecting the red glow coming from the tree ! Click the white triangle to play the video..

This gives you an idea of how fast a female moose can run when they are defending their young from predators or photographers that get to close for "the shot". Imagine having this coming straight at you ! Thats why I use a 500mm lens and stay as far away as is safe when photographing moose. To play click white triangle.
Check out the wingspan on this fella ! Click on the white triangle to play.
